3 Signs that you’re on the brink of burnout

I went through intense burnout in the first years of my business. I’ve been in the depths of burnout and felt so tired that I didn’t know how I was going to get through my day.

These days I still manage my energy levels with a lot of caution, but I can usually catch burnout before it gets me.

Constant exhaustion is not a badge of honour and it’s something that needs to be addressed before it turns into a serious illness.

Here are 3 signs that you’re on the brink of burnout:

1 – You’re starting to feel more exhausted than you usually do. You might be getting enough sleep, eating well etc, but it doesn’t matter what you do, you still feel more exhausted than you usually do.
 
2 – Groundhog Day. You might be feeling like everyday is the same kind of day. You’re getting up, going about your day and before you know it, you’re hitting the pillow exhausted. This is about having the feeling that you’re just surviving and getting through your days. These kind of days are stretching out into weeks & months and before you know it, you’re just trying to get through each day
 
3 – You feel unhappy and miserable even though there isn’t anything major or traumatic going on for you. You just have a deep sense of unhappiness. This is because you’re out of alignment with your soul.
